UA Grantham Heroes Program Eligibility

University of Arkansas Grantham is proud to offer the Heroes Program to those who:

  • Meet University of Arkansas Grantham’s minimum admissions requirements
  • Meet any special program admissions requirements
  • And are at least one of the following:
    • A U.S. active-duty service member, reservist, National Guard member or other military service member;
    • A U.S. honorable, general under honorable or medically discharged veteran;
    • A U.S. emergency first responder, including federal, state and local law enforcement personnel, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics;
    • A U.S. civil servant* at the federal, state, county and/or local level;
    • A U.S. licensed or certified patient care worker;
    • A child (of any age) or spouse of any of the individuals listed above.

* A civil servant or public servant is a person employed in the public sector by a government department or agency. This includes federal, state, county and/or municipal employees. Not everyone working for the government is a civil servant however, generally part-time or contract employees will not qualify.
